Selected as the intern scholarship recipient for the January 2018 YogaWorks' Yoga Teacher Training to Instructor Jessica Seabern. As the internship recipient, completed two learning opportunities in addition to the intensive time commitment of training curriculum. As a Teacher Training Marketing Intern, duties included local grass roots marketing and pre-training logistics. As the In-Training Intern, responsibilities performed during the course of the training included daily attendance, homework recording, maintenance of the yoga studio, assisting with in-training logistical duties, and act as a liaison between Program Advisor, Instructor, and students. Received the 200-Hour Yoga Training Diploma granted by the YogaWorks Teacher Training taught by Instructor, Jessica Seabern. This diploma recognizes the completion of 200-hours of coursework in the theory and practice of asana, yoga philosophy, anatomy and the basics of teaching yoga. As a graduate, I am also registered with Yoga Alliance (Registered Yoga School) at the 200-hour level.The YogaWorks Teacher Training program blends yoga traditions from the east and west, integrating both into a practical and unique method that combines vinyasa flow with an emphasis on alignment and skillful sequencing. As a teacher, we learn to provide each student with the necessary foundation to skillfully teach with compassion, safety and integrity, while honoring his or her individual voice and style. The teacher training also serves to deepen one's own practice and to uniquely prepare to leave one's mark on the world.
