Built McAfee EPO server and oversaw the rollout of client software to all clients to manage virus protection throughout the organization. Responsible for upgrading and maintaining load balancing SPAM appliance. Built MS SUS server to manage updates on all clients and servers throughout the organization. Oversaw migration from XP to Windows 7 throughout the organization. Personally responsible for handling VIP and other high profile technical requests.

Managed network infrastructure for headquarters and 4 remote sites using HP and Cisco equipment. Configured and maintained Sonicwall Firewall at all locations and the site-to-site VPN connections between them. Implemented WAN Optimization between sites using Silver Peak appliance. Implemented the company’s first NAC appliance using eTIPS. Implemented the company’s first IPS appliance using HP’s technology. Installed and managed Casper server for centralized Macintosh administration. Managed and supported hardware and software operations at all locations and including more than 50 Windows 2008 and Macintosh Servers providing 24/7 service to over 600 employees, clients and vendors. Negotiated hardware and software purchases and maintenance contracts. Collaborated with team to create and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures for Data Center and network infrastructure, including hot sites for mission critical applications. Evaluated, implemented and managed Firewall and Intrusion Prevention System for border protection, detailed reporting and compliance. Managed multiple projects including core network infrastructure upgrade, Citrix farm migration, wireless infrastructure implementation, NAC implementation, WAN and new office build-outs. Managed AD, GPO, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS services. Evaluated and recruited new team members for network, server and helpdesk positions. Mentored helpdesk technicians for Mac and PC client services.
