While on the board I held two positions: Communications Chair (2021-2022), and Treasurer (2022-2023)As Treasurer I managed the organization’s finances, by creating check requests, inputting checks, and creating financial reports for monthly meetings.Community Service:● Participated in Cops for Kids. This event is usually held around Christmas time and volunteers walk around with children in Walmart to allow them to pick out whatever gifts they want with a one-hundred-dollar budget.● Books and Bunnies (an Easter literacy event for young children)● Thanksgiving Eve Dinner (Free Community Dinner, delivered and served by the community)

Participated as a member and quickly worked up the executive ranks to recording secretary (2018-2020), treasurer (2020-2021), vice president (2021-2022), and president (2022-2023).As president, I was responsible for creating agendas for and leading all general body and executive board meetings. Managed all committees, created the programs for, and led all events and banquets.Participated in the KidWind team and constructed a working wind turbine.In 2021-2022, won first place at the NSBE National Convention and went on to win the Spirit of Kidwind Award at the international competition in San Antonio.
