I am a dedicated third-year undergraduate at Penn State University, driven by a passion for school psychology and a commitment to helping children thrive. A graduate of Pennsbury High School and a first-generation college student, I’m on a path to earn my Master’s in School Psychology and work in the education system, where I can empower children to learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves. My journey toward school psychology has deep roots. Growing up with a learning disability, I was fortunate to have a strong support system of educators who made a lasting impact on my life. Their support inspired me to give back in a similar way, to ensure other students receive the same guidance and encouragement. This motivation was reinforced in high school through my AP Psychology class, where my understanding of human development and passion for helping others truly came together.Outside of academics, my background in dance and experience as a student teacher allowed me to connect with younger children, teaching and mentoring them through their early steps. Watching them gain confidence and grow was incredibly fulfilling and deepened my desire to work in child development. I’m hard-working, proactive in building relationships with my professors, and passionate about supporting children across the lifespan, particularly in educational settings. If you share an interest in education, psychology, or child development, I’d love to connect and discuss our goals in this field!
