Product Developer/Manager a PlayerLayer Ltd/ Dreamsport. I single handedly managed external suppliers whilst working closely with the directors and CEO. I prioritised and ensured all project deadlines were met, handling multiple tasks whilst closely monitoring all developments ensuring product quality was kept to the highest of standards. My versatile role consisted of the below roles and responsibilities:Product Development -- Conducting daily communication with overseas and UK suppliers of in excess of 500 styles that we purchase.- Overseas and UK factory visits for new product development with direct manufacturer contact.- Responsible for all product specifications including lab dips, strike offs, artwork approvals and approval of bulk fabrics.- Approval of initial designs, technical specifications and communicating an understanding of our requirements to the factory.- My responsibility included ensuring the fit and function, conducting live fitting sessions with test pilots and focus groups ensuring the product is fit for purpose, cost price management, reviews with finance, sales and marketing directors for both wholesale and retail pricing.- Reacting to new customer requirement requests in conjunction with the companies marketing personnel.- General administrative duties to keep systems, specifications and processes up to date.Quality Control:- Managing and maintaining the accuracy of off-site quality control to blue chip company quality standards.- Building fault reports that ensure faults are rectified swiftly aiding a fast track order processes. - Regular supplier warehouse visits to ensure these processes are adhered to and where required improved.Wholesale/ Retail Ranges:- Accountable for the daily management of the online retail site.

Managing 4 sales account managers with over 50 customers each based all over the UK providing end-to-end support. - Daily communication with sales account managers, external suppliers and embellishers. - Managing and maintaining the sales cycle quotes, sales orders to purchase orders.- Producing marketing/ promotional material, graphics and web shops. - Approval of artworks, strike offs, DST embroidery files, heat seal transfers, flock, sublimation and screen prints.- Designing on-site with the customer to help salesman close sales. Managing visits to public schools for fitting days and sporting events helping to promote brand awareness communicating directly with teachers, parents and students.- Able to quickly understand customer needs and to deliver timely and cost effective solutions.

Responsible for holding bridal appointments, closing sales to assisting fitting sessions. Daily communication with potential customers and suppliers from first initial meetings to POS (Point of sale).-Processing orders ensuring delivery dates are met leaving enough time for fitting sessions.-Assisting the initial and final fitting appointment making sure the dress prepared and balances are paid.-Responsible for customer service, administration of customer details, financial organisation and liaison with suppliers.-Maintained a customer diary of all appointments and fitting sessions.-Buying duties with the experience of visiting Harrogate Trade Bridal Exhibition once a year meeting suppliers and selecting the following season’s stock.
