In a Front of House position, I assist the NLA Events Management Team with preparation, configuration and delivery of corporate and social events, from the LFA Festival opening, summits and PechaKucha talks to study tours. These events explore a diverse range of urban topics, challenges and latest innovative solutions.

• Tranquil City is an inter-disciplinary research collective whose mission is to promote greater use of environmental quality information (relating to local air quality, noise levels, access to green space) amongst city.
• Managed community engagement activities for the brand new “Clean Air Routes for Southampton” initiative - encouraging local teachers, parents, healthcare practitioners and patients to use a new web-app which highlights.
• Led stakeholder engagement interviews for “Geospatial Data for SDGs” project, exploring how environmental quality data can help local authorities, developers and universities measure and track progress of diverse urban.
• Secured funding from an EU innovation programme (IMPETUS4CS), exploring the value of citizen-led research for engaging local communities in urban planning and environmental quality matters.
• Conducted a Rapid Evidence Review for Natural England, exploring which design features promote additional use and enjoyment of formal and informal urban green spaces in cities.
• Produced creative online content such as “Tranquil Stories” series, showcasing exemplar spaces environmental charities and architectural practices are creating to increase access to nature, promote health and.

• Main projects:- Gascoigne Estate (Phase 2 Regeneration), Barking & Dagenham - Canada Water Masterplan- High Road West, North Tottenham- International Quarter London, Stratford- Bishopsgate Goodsyard, Shoreditch - Limmo.
• Undertook extensive desktop research and stakeholder mapping to understand place context, historical assets and values of population impacted by urban regeneration.
• Planned and executed diverse community engagement events (public exhibitions, pop-ups, community walkabouts, focus group sessions, one to ones), liaising with various key stakeholders.
• Designed and led a bespoke youth engagement strategy for Gascoigne Estate (Phase 2 redevelopment), focused on creative “quick win”/ public space improvements which can be achieved in the interim.
• Databased, analysed and reported on key consultation findings for final Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) documents submitted alongside planning applications.

• “Pitches 4 Purpose” was an unique initiative which invited grassroots organisations from the SW1/ Westminster area to pitch for funding supporting their community cohesion projects.
• Over two months, executed walking, telephone and email outreach to recruit community organisations and promote the final showcase event.

• Wrote a client recommendation report for Tower Hamlets Council, pressing the case for the inclusion and active participation of young people in local high-street regeneration initiatives.
• Assisted with the delivery of Roman Road Trust’s 2017/18 ‘Globe Town Common Vision’ community governance series, specifically supporting Public Realm and Arts & Culture workshops.

• Helped to facilitate eight consultation events within Regent’s Park Estate, which reviewed mitigation measures Camden Council could implement to reduce the impacts on HS2 construction on green spaces in the Euston area.
• Engagement included: informal SWOT analysis conversations with the local community, completion of online questionnaires and door knocking in places where response rate was relatively low.
• Collated and analysed results of pop-ups, forming apart of final recommendation report to Camden Council.

• Independently researched alternative ways of temporarily revitalising Thorpe Close, an under-utilised space situated under the Westway Flyover in West London.
• Drawing inspiration from case studies of best practice, presented a series of artistic/ events-orientated meanwhile intervention ideas to the Westway Development Team.

• Independently designed and hosted a walking tour around East London, educating the local community and specific green space groups (i.e. Drinking Ginger) about the multi-functional uses and value of pocket parks in the.
• Additional to the walking tour, compiled a public report examining perceived tranquillity of visited pocket parks.
