With this role as a Legal Intern I was in charge of communicating with clients regarding their cases, including relaying or obtaining more information relevant to their cases. I was also involved with case research, drafting letters for attorneys, recording minutes, and inputting case information into the legal system. In this specific office I dealt with many cases dealing with the Tenant-Protection Act, as well as elder abuse cases ranging from physical to financial.

I worked in this position for three years, and was a Student Supervisor for two of those three years. I would assist with rescheduling employees, dropping shifts, sending out communications, and even help plan out the monthly staff meetings.

Through this role, I learned how to work in a fast-paced environment while having to complete multiple tasks at once. I would need to be able to stay efficient and organized at all times while communicating with coworkers and customers to ensure service could be as quick as possible.
