I have been working at the Hyatt Place Fredericksburg since my tranfer from NY in Sept. 2013, under Interstate Hotels And Resorts. Previously at the Best Western for 14 years under the same Interstate umbrella as a transfer, and promotion.

Day to day operations, such as plumbing repair and installation, electrical repair and troubleshooting. HVAC repair/replacement. Knowledge of basic a/c operation and troubleshooting. Install, repair, and diagnose basic and commercial electrical wiring and equipment. Plumbing repair and installation of many types of piping and fixtures. Installation, and operations of internet cable, and other communication devices. Painting, wallpapering, carpeting, sheet rock, finish work, woodworking skills, organizational skills, insure guest satisfaction, preventative maintenance of full service 99 guest room facility, including restaurant, meeting and banquet rooms, lounge (bar), state of the art pool, spa, and exercise facility, knowledge of testing and adjustment to pool and spa chemicals according to health code guidelines. Assist chief engineer with assigning duties for maintenance staff, acting lead engineer in the chief engineer’s absence. Troubleshoot, repair and installation of kitchen equipment. Other general maintenance duties, as assigned.

Day to day operation of hospital, grounds, and 40-bed nursing home. Diagnose and repair problems with low pressure steam boilers, including threading and installation of pipe fittings. Repair and install telephone and computer wiring and diagnostics. Repair and installation of electrical wiring and equipment.
