• Developer: Quality manager was using an ancient process to verify quality alerts on in-process parts. In less than a day, created semi-automated system that will allow input of parts running each week, pulling all related documentation and alerts. Demonstrated overall improvements to leadership and program was implemented going forward. This program resulted in saving Amesbury Truth $14,000 a year in overhead costs.• Training Optimization: Existing training program and documentation was outdated and obsolete. Tasked by the Quality Manager to restructured the program with a four month deadline. Improved quality training program and overall documentation and tools over a 90 day period, resulting in a drastic improved overall efficiency and retention. While still in process, this program has reduced the time spent in the training program by over 25%. • Technical Writer: Documentation for quality assurance was severely outdated. Tasked by leadership to improve overall documentation. In a 90 day period, completed a total overhaul of all standard operating procedures. The improved overall communication caused these procedures to still be in use today.

• Documentation Inspection: Inaccuracies in pharmaceutical documentation resulted in potential lawsuit risk. Preformed detailed audit on production documentation and identified operational error in procedure. Identified potential outcome that documentation practices that could generate lawsuits if not rectified. Immediately brought to the attention of the quality manager. Saved company from potential lawsuits and recalls worth more than $1 million.• Training Optimization: Training document system was old and unreliable causing departments to have slower training times and less consistent training throughout. Was tasked by Quality Manager to help implement the new EHS system by transferring all documentation from the old system into the new one and checking for errors or issues during the process. This new system improved training times and retention across all departments and removed any inconsistencies within the training.

• Program Development: Manual measurement and system for detecting and correcting defects from production line was inconsistent and took significant time out of the day for technicians. Helped develop a new program in conjunction with R&D that allowed automatic measurement and estimated adjustments to product that reduced the number of corrections needed. This program saved on average 20 minutes of time for every correction that needed to be made to product and reducing excess product being used during that correction, saving the company over $50,000/year and increasing production output by reducing QC time.
