With a change in market conditions and the demise of Lehman Brothers (September 2008), under the Board’s direction I introduced a strategy of reducing debt by sale of assets and reducing Work In Progress generally to scale down the business to reduce exposure to the market and funding partners. Bank debt reduced from £15,000,000 to zero within 4 years. Overheads were reduced by 60% over this period. Show less
