Over the past nine years, my work has focused on large-scale food service operations in response to several natural disasters, including hurricanes and wildfires. During Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Michael, and Hurricane Ida, I played a key role in organizing and executing emergency food service operations, ensuring that relief workers had access to nutritious meals. In Puerto Rico, following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, I supported disaster relief efforts with large-scale food service production to address the immediate needs of first responders. Additionally, I contributed to food service relief during California wildfires, coordinating efforts to provide meals for emergency personnel in challenging and diverse enviorments. My experience extends to overseeing large-scale meal production in refugee camps, adapting to the unique challenges of each environment. In addition to my hands-on experience in disaster relief, I am a National Certified Forklift Instructor and a ServSAFE instructor, responsible for training teams in safe food handling and operational safety. These certifications have enabled me to lead and mentor teams in both food safety and equipment handling, ensuring compliance with safety standards in high-pressure and large-scale operations.
