Chris Fox is a Chemistry graduate from Imperial College, London. He has a long track record in a range of businesses. His corporate experience spans 30 years in the petroleum, nuclear, food, automotive and aerospace sectors and his operational activity spans more than 20 countries. As Chief Executive he ran the Liberal Democrats during the 2010 election and during the first part of the coalition government. He became a peer in 2014 and leads on business and finance issues. He is a past member of the Science and Technology and Economic Affairs committees. He now sits on the International Agreements Committee. He is a member of the executive of the British American Parliamentary Group, is vice president of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce and a director of the German-British Forum.In the three years Jan 2020 to Dec 2022 he has worked on scrutinising the following legislation:1.
