Provide assistance for permit to work queries and compliance. Management of external training requests and raising purchase requisitions via 1SAP

Management of acid truck and rail tanker loading activities. Conducted flow meter verifications with NMI representatives to achieve compliance. Management of isolations and permit to work system, ensuring safe work practices.

Operating the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter equipment in a safe manner, to the best of my ability. Training and assessing technicians in various areas of the plant. Including: Central Control Room, Acid Plant Operations, Flux Plant Operations, Effluent Plant Operations. I ensure the safety of myself and the safety of others working around my site. Operate the plant without violating environmental licences, maintain high housekeeping standards. Take and monitor samples, from the plant, ensuring corrective actions are taken if required. Maintain plant equipment within my competency level, consistently improve my skills to be of greater value to the company.. Help out maintenance technicians wherever possible, to improve my skills, and create a healthy working relationship. Supervise contractors working on or around site, and maintain site security. Operate the plant using Yokogawa DCS control system, running the largest Sulphuric Acid Plant of its type in the world, sulphur burn / met gas plant.
