Chris Herron brings over 25 years of combined experience in the areas of sales, construction, real estate development, and property management. Since 2011, Mr. Herron has been employed as a Regional Sales Representative for B&C Steel. B&C Steel specializes in the design, engineering, and fabrication of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). Serving the Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana regions, Chris is responsible for prospecting new customers, managing existing accounts, evaluating building designs, submitting cost estimates, recommending value-engineered options, over-coming objections, executing sales agreements, monitoring scheduling and building deliveries, and ensuring the order has been fabricated to the customer’s specifications. Mr. Herron remains the customer’s point-of-contact through a varied sales cycle, which could be three-months, or more than one-year. Chris fosters these relationships with a belief he is cultivating a customer for life. With a solution-oriented approach, drive to prospect for new customers, and timely response to inquiries, it is no surprise that his sales revenue has grown by 370% during his career at B&C Steel! Prior to Mr. Herron joining B&C Steel, he served 10-years as a project manager on several multi-family, residential, and resort projects. Some noteworthy projects under Chris’s supervision are: the $6.7 million expansion and renovation to the Base Lodge at Granby Ranch (Granby, CO 2007), $2.5 million Grange Hall at Granby Ranch (Granby, CO 2008), $1.4 million residence at 2515 South Cook Street (Denver, CO), $1.4 million residence at 2429 South Cook Street (Denver, CO), and he operated a $10 million capital expenditure/renovation budget for a multi-family portfolio (2000-2005).With his wife, three children (and two step-children), Chris stays busy with youth sports, mountain bike rides, camping, snow skiing, and cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
