Role and Responsibilities• Lead classroom instruction for AISD's elementary, middle and high schools, focusing on Core Subjects and Bilingual Classrooms.• Have served the campuses of Austin, Bowie, Bonham, Martinez, Ortiz, Purcell, Stafford and Ward Elementary schools, Madison Middle School, and Abilene High School.

Roles and Responsibilities• Co-designed a three-week course for the Global Resource and English Acquisition Camp (GREAT), which hosted students from Ibaraki (Japan) Christian High School.• Introduced students to core American values and connected those to historical moments, culture, and geography.• Utilized a multimedia approach (video, music, artwork, photography, acting) to enliven lectures ranging from the signing of the U.S. Constitution to 21st century globalization.

• Taught online English classes to students of all ages and backgrounds, including those from Brazil, Czech Republic, Korea, and Slovakia.• Designed diverse lesson plans specific to students’ interests and abilities.• Provided instruction to beginning, intermediate and advanced-level students.

Role and Responsibilities• Managed an office whose responsibility was to tell the stories of Abilene Christian University coaches and student-athletes.• Interviewed coaches and student-athletes on-camera for feature stories, post-game recaps, and promotional purposes.• Play-by-play voice for ACU baseball, basketball, softball, and volleyball.• Scheduled weekly and post-game press conferences for local print and television media.Achievements• Monetized our office's video streaming services with Stretch Internet, and produced monthly viewership reports for administration and potential advertisers. • Co-developed the athletic department's first social media strategy by working with head coaches and university administrators whose collective goal was to provide consistent and uniform messages. Our audiences on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram doubled each year following the implementation of the strategy.• Promoted a number of student-athletes to Academic All-America status, including football players Jack Gibbens (first team) in 2019 and Josh Fink (first team) in 2018, women’s softball player Brianna Barnill in 2018, women’s soccer player Kelsie Roberts (first team) in 2016, distance runner Daniel Block in 2015, and tennis players Micah Hermsdorf and Hans Hach in 2013. • Created a social media campaign on behalf of football player Jack Gibbens for the 2020 William V. Campbell Trophy® Presented by Mazda. He was one of 12 national finalists for the award, recognized as the 'academic Heisman.'• Implemented Adobe Creative Suite programs to enhance our office's storytelling capabilities for video and print, resulting in greater traffic for our web site and YouTube page.• Twice supervised a complete redesign of our athletics department's website, ACUSports.com.
