Project Coordinator
Current• Comprehensive project planning, development, tender and bid evaluation, execution, and closeout activities related to the remediation of low-level radioactive waste (LLRW) on technically and politically complex multi-million-dollar projects.• Point of contact and oversight of contracting staff to ensure scope is delivered safely, compliantly, and to project specifications by creating a solutions-based environment to meet project milestones and remedial objectives.• Interaction with property owners, municipal staff, consultants, and regulatory bodies involved in the development, planning and implementation of the management of historic LLRW in Port Hope, Northern Canada, and in the GTA.• Assist in preparation of technical documents, contract documents, coordinate contracts with procurement, assist in evaluation of submittals and review of contractors, as well as coordinate the onboarding of contract with procurement.• Review of technical studies and detailed reports prepared by remediation contractors, design consultants and other contributing parties to ensure high quality (technical accuracy and appropriateness) and consistency with formats/requirements to CNL technical documentation standards.• Complete in-field observations to identify Occupational Health and Safety best practices, non-compliances, areas for improvement and other such gaps related applicable laws, regulations, contract commitments and CNL internal corporate requirements.
