An experienced, diverse engineer, with a strong knowledge of electrical systems both in aviation and maritime systems. Currently employed as support engineer within Babcock International. Providing rapid technical engineering response to the Royal Navy, providing solutions to highly complex system defects, to maximise the operational availability of the vessels, whilst identifying the future impacts and trends, to reduce future defects of the highly complex systems.With a strong foundation of engineering management, obtained in my two decades within the Royal Navy, as a senior supervisor, heading a team of engineers both service and contractors, to produce modifications to aircraft ensuring that regulatory standards are met and quality assurance is maintained throughout.Additionally expanded my engineering competence into QinetiQ where I spent 5 years applying my knowledge as an electromagnetic system analyst, further enhancing systems and software to monitor the characteristics of electromagnetic influences to ships and submarines. Liaising with end customer and third party companies to develop and enhance bespoke data gathering equipment, to further enhance our services.
