Designed automated packaging equipment from concept to full, multi-stage production systems. Designed entire 3D systems in SolidWorks and utilized AutoCAD to produce 2D pneumatic and I-O schematics. Daily functions included detailed part and assembly models and drawings, BOM preparation, sequence of operations and work routing, and hands-on fabrication and production support.

Lead the S-6 (signal/networking/communications) section of the 122nd TSD, which was tasked with providing Tactical Operations Center (TOC) functions to an active duty Infantry division.

Worked as a Signal Corp Officer managing networking and telecommunication systems and providing platoon-level leadership to approximately 25 Soldiers.

Shadowed other officers in their platoon and company level positions, observing and assisting as needed while completing ROTC training.

Spent 8 months training and 15 months serving as an Apache airframe repairer, working specifically with the rocket, missile, cannon, electronic, and avionics systems within the helicopter.

Leading, managing, and supporting the design and development of new packagingmachinery systems, as well the application engineering of standard & highly customized machines. Primary focus, however, is mechanical design within SolidWorks. I provide engineering support for troubleshooting in-field customer issues, machinery system upgrades & installation, and spare part support for machinery systems worldwide. I collaborate with Carton Design, Sales, Estimating, Assembly and Fabrication as required to ensure machines and cartons are optimized for best packaging system performance and efficiency. I'm also called on to support or lead Lean/Six Sigma projects in order to improve the operation of machinery, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase engineering efficiency. Also coordinate the activities of technicians & engineers on projects as required to ensure product standardization and proper resource utilization.

Primarily focused on managing capital expenditure and CI projects up to $5M, but was also involved in developing training programs, facility construction standards, CAD drawing standards, conducting leading practice audits and Reliability Centered Maintenance assessments, and team Sharepoint integration.
