• Oversee the work of 5 staff performing analysis and interacting with business in line with JSE recognised SDLC, both in an Agile and Waterfall methodology.• Ensure resource allocations and capacity planning • Develop and motivate a high performing team through recruiting and promoting the best people aligned with business needs• Ensure project governance relating to business analysis responsibilities in order to review project performance• Coach a team of analysts at all levels and perform analysis work at an expert level. • Perform performance agreement assessments on BA direct reports at required intervals • Carry out satisfaction surveys/360 reviews with stakeholders on BA deliverables and projects at regular intervals• Address any poor performance issues with team members and follow formalised process with HR where necessary • Conduct PDP (Personal Development Plan) discussions with staff on a regular basis• Be a role model and mentor for more junior members of staff in o proper working practices o implementation using specific technologies • Review of business requirements and specifications developed by the business analysts for the business unit IT services• • Provide guidance and assist in resolving conflicts and removing obstacles to expedite delivery and maximise value to the organisation.• Engage with stakeholders to manage and where possible mitigate project specific risks • Provide communication via formal channels to identified business areas informing them of any enhancements, changes or new procedures implemented in the BA team • Provides initial project estimates for cost-benefit analysis • Guiding the development of a business case• SDLC Governance - Ensure team makes optimal use of the JSE Project and SDLC process, templates and artefacts • Display an expert level of knowledge and understanding of the content of BABOK and how to apply it successfully in an SDLC enviroment.•

- Generate reporting and statistics related to effective management of loan books such as receipting trend analysis, loan book segmentation and external debt collector performance.- Management of and reporting on payment mechanisms.- Manage EDC (external debt collectors) handover selections and retractions:- Workflow Documentation- Analyse potential Loan Books for data accuracy and performance history in order to determine pricing.- Responsible for Monthly Board Pack Management Reporting.- Identify existing and potential information needs throughout the organisation.- All adhoc reporting/queries using MS Access and SQL- Attendance and facilitation of workshops and user sessions- Accurately and completely documents all relevant business, functional and non-functional requirements in the appropriate documents (i.e. business requirements specifications, detailed requirements specification) within agreed quality standards- Guiding the development of a business case- Produce quality deliverables - that consistently meet the expectations of stakeholders within expected deadlines/delivery dates- Expectation Management: Understand and manage stakeholder expectations in terms of delivery times and outputs- Participate in and facilitate workshops/discussions, providing input and guidance that adds value to the discussion and furthers the initiative objective
