Provides ISP and OSP engineering, installation, construction, testing, project management and consultation on telecomm procedures, network management and provisioning services.Performed planning and engineering of optical transport networks in major metropolitan areas to provide high capacity services. Prepared statements of work, design drawings, equipment lists, etc. for network augmentation and expansion projects, and project management of selected projects. Evaluated network traffic and customer demand and proactively planning and designing network capacity upgrades.

Responsibilities included Operations and support for Verizon Internet Service (VIS) VoIP network and Verizon Wireless CDMA network. Validated and participated in Lab entry criteria for the application and systems for Local and Long Distance networks. Performed turn up & testing functions on LUCENT, TELLABS, FUJITSU, NORTEL and SONUS equipment that carry voice, data and IP traffic. Test and turn up of SONET access circuits off DWDM rings for infrastructure network and projects, using state of the art systems. Also, handle remote testing and provisioning of DS1 and above, including ETHERNET, ISDN and SONET circuits for network infrastructure expansion. Work closely with field technicians assuring proper wiring and fiber placement. Provide alarm surveillance for new equipment installs and upgrades. Assist designers with engineering corrections, covering equipment, circuit layout and inventory records. Support the NOC technicians with troubleshooting and provisioning of new installs and existing circuits. Equipment utilized on regular basis includes Tellabs Titan 5500, Titan 532L, Titan 5500 NGX, Fujitsu Flashwave 4500, Lucent DWDM LambdaXtreme, LambdaUnit MSS, Nortel Succession Softswitch and Sonus Softswitch. Application Software utilized on regular basis includes Remedy, Hekimian React, Navis Optical Integrated Network Controller,
