Closed new business with a new hospital and two orthopedic surgeons the first full month in the field after training. Second full month in the field the territory posted the highest number ever. Working on a new evaluation that would potentially increase the annual revenue by at least 80%.

New business development in my territory where there was no activity since 2006. Achieved the highest growth rate for the first quarter in the territory. Increase of 89% from the previous quarter in spite of significant competitive impact within the territory.

Originally the territory only had existing chest drain business. Since expanded the Atrium product line to include both PTFE and Dacron vascular grafts as well as successfully launched our new covered stent in the interventional cardiology and radiology arenas. Responsibilities include formulating and implementing sales strategies for the territory as well as developing large new accounts and champion surgeons. Four out of five days are spent in the O.R., cath lab or angio suites with rest of the time spent in the field. High level of interaction with: surgeons, interventional cardiologists, radiologists, gynecologists, urologists, hospital buyers and support staff to develop long-term relationships.
