CurrentProgram Development – facilitate implementation of land management projects, cooperative agreements, contracts, and grants with federal, state and local land management agencies, non-governmental organizations and consulting firms; expand and implement recruitment, outreach and marketing strategies; ensure compliance with fiscal and performance reporting requirementsGovernment Relations – represent organizational perspectives and priorities related to pending legislation and agency initiatives with legislators, agency personnel, and organizational colleagues; serve on regional and national collation working groups and panels; Leadership: Public Lands Service Coalition co-chair (2017-present), The Corps Network Corps Council member (2019-2022), TCN Government Relations co-chair (2019-present), P-21CSC Steering CommitteePersonnel Management – facilitate new employee hiring, orientation and training; supervise and evaluate field and office staff; review and approve payroll; administer employee benefitsFiscal Oversight – accountable for multi-million dollar annual budget; knowledge of and compliance with federal, state and local cost principles; experience and understanding of federal grant programs including, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Department of Transportation, and AmeriCorps; develop, track and approve project budgets
