Responsible for quality and accuracy of all telephonic and written accident and incident reports. Maintains database and produces reports on these incidents. Works with inspectors, railroads and other parties to assure reports are complete and factual. Composes and researches staff reports for applications for grade crossing improvements and new installations. Recently completed 50 reports for Southern Arizona reaching from Bowie to Yuma. Writes ACC position papers and orders for review and decision by Administrative Law Judge. Also presents these papers at hearings.Investigates complaints on railroad issues from the public, labor, and railroad employees. Supervises and manages a staff of four. Assists with budget preparation.

Grade Crossing Safety Inspector 2005 to 2007Established and maintained open communication with railroad safety managers, Federal and state regulators, representatives from communities, and others to review highway-rail grade crossing safety and regulatory issues.Consulted with Federal and state agencies to determine which grade crossings to be federally funded by Section 130 funds.Worked successfully with members of the public to address various highway-rail grade crossing complaints.
