Director Of Corporate Advancement
CurrentThe corporate team has the privilege of cultivating and stewarding the museum’s relationships with our corporate partners, including all four of our official partners. Corporate revenue represents a $15+ MIL revenue center. Together with our museum colleagues, the children’s museum continues to lead the way in how we approach the integration and recognition of our corporate partners through the creation of strategic marketing campaigns, content collaboration, and activations that leverage the strengths and goals of both organizations. The result is relationships built on the foundation of trust and the ability to secure critical financial resources that allow us to continue advancing the mission of the museum and the communities we serve.
Director Of Development, Major Gifts - Iupui
IU Indianapolis is one of Indiana University's two core campuses and is situated in downtown Indianapolis. As an urban campus, our student population has more first generation college students, students from underserved and underrepresented communites, and independent youth per capita than most of our peer institutions. Our expertise and ability to provide wrap-around support services for our student population is one aspect that makes IU Indianapolis stand apart from other universities. My role as the campus-wide development officer is to support major gifts to IU Indianapolis that are not specific to a school or unit. I also directly support several divisions and units whose work is campus-wide in nature, including: the Division of Undergraduate Education, the Division of Student Affairs, the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the Office of International Affairs.
Philanthropy Officer
Balboa Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States and welcomes over 4 million visitors annually. The relationship between The City of San Diego and Forever Balboa Park reinforces the critical role that public-private partnerships play in maintaining and enhancing public spaces. My main responsibilities include philanthropic strategic planning, cultivation, and solicitation of individual, corporate and foundation gifts for unrestricted and restricted gifts with a special emphasis on the Botanical Building & Gardens, a three-year capital campaign.
Deputy Director
Administrative and financial oversight, fundraising, and strategic planning are certainly an important part of my responsibilities, but my passion for providing meaningful programming for our active duty, veteran, military, and Gold Star families will continue to be a part of my day to day operations. Additionally I will fill in as needed in the absence of the Executive Director, and continue working with my co-workers, depot colleagues, and our community partners to grow the size and scope of the Foundation, and by extension, the MCRD Command Museum.
Director Of Programs & Development
Proud to be part of an energetic and innovative team that has grown the size and scope of the Command Museum exponentially in just a few short years. Together we have added six new programs that serve our Marines, Sailors, veterans, and military community at large. By adding value to our members, providing enhanced experiences for our visitors, and growing the number of material and financial resources available to the Command Museum, we are able to serve an ever growing number of people from both the military and San Diego community, while continuing to honor the history and legacy of the Marine Corps.
Intern - Concurrent With Mba Program
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of both a museum and non profit organization from the ground up while pursing my Masters in Business Administration.
International Logistics Coordinator | Business Development
Working for Dewitt was great opportunity for learning, personal growth, and experience managing projects of various size and scope. I was given the freedom to build new business processes and continue developing my passion for building relationships, streamlining operations, and growing new and existing revenue streams. By the end of my time with the organization I was responsible for handling all new government accounts and increased revenue by over 20% for the accounts I was responsible for.
Producer
At 451 Degrees, I was given an education on how I could better use technology, software, and basic videography and editing skills to create a superior marketing product. Additionally, I was able to gain my first real world experience negotiating contracts, coordinating events, and developing products and services from the ground up. Together with a creative and energetic team, we were able to take the company from a pro bono service to a revenue generating operation.
Team Leader - Sergeant, 1St Bn, 5Th Mar, 1St Mardiv, Wpns Co.
My time in the Marine Corps was the greatest real world lesson in teamwork, leadership, and adaptability that I have ever experienced. Personal awards and decorations include the Purple Heart and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
