Managed CHPRC Well Management Organization, which includes developing drilling planning documents, preparation of drilling contract documents and bid specifications and managing surface and borehole geophysics contracts for Groundwater program at Hanford. This period included ARRA funded acceleration of scope when 413 wells were safely drilled in a three year period in an extreme regulatory environment. Managed a pool of ~10-15 subcontracted field geologists. Worked with DOE, EPA and Washington Department of Ecology to negotiate TPA milestones, currently 2 years ahead of schedule. Oversaw surface and borehole geophysics contracts.

Developed, bid, and managed a county-wide geographic information system (GIS) for Benton County, Washington. This work included digital orthophotography, parcel mapping, and database integration of 1,200 square miles and over 18,000 parcels. Also supported other county projects such as Brownfield redevelopment grant proposals, Emergency management operations mapping, and managing a small water system in receivership for two years. Provide expert witness testimony for criminal trials.

Worked as a geologist and environmental scientist for a variety of Department of Energy, Corps of Engineers, and private client projects. Served as a field investigator in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska, for site assessment, investigation, spill response, and remediation projects. Was the primary or contributing author for a variety of Department of Energy documents including radioactive waste tank leak reports, RI/FS workplans, as well as private client reports and other documents.

Moscow Idaho

Performed geologic mapping for the Idaho Geological Survey as part of a project that examined 1600 square miles of wilderness in the Bitterroot Mountains, North-Central Idaho. This project involved extensive traverses in rugged alpine terrain. Assisted in coordinating the helicopter support for the program.
