I help federal, state, local, and tribal agencies acquire information technology and expert services. From rugged laptops to artificial intelligence applications, my team promotes the governmentwide adoption of flexible, pre-vetted acquisition vehicles designed to contract the latest IT solutions at the best value to the taxpayer. We do this by marketing the benefits of such purchasing programs to our agency customers, preparing our subject matter experts for events and media interviews, leading interagency working groups, engaging vendors and industry partners, and exploring emerging technology, especially its potential to serve the public interest. Before joining government, I developed websites and provided personalized training and support for users of NationBuilder campaign management software. That experience equipped me to offer a wide range of technical and digital marketing services in addition to client-centered consulting and campaign strategy. I primarily work with HTML5, CSS/SCSS/SASS and the Liquid templating language. I use JavaScript libraries like React and jQuery for dynamic elements. I build custom HTML email templates and graphics for NationBuilder and Mailchimp. For goal-oriented websites, I run Google Optimize to test new features and configurations. For articles and events, I utilize AMP so content loads quickly on mobile devices. I use JSON-LD to structure data for search engine optimization, and configure advanced analytics tracking with Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. On the creative side, I use Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, Canva, Tableau and Sketchbook Pro to produce graphics and data visualizations.I stay up to date on a range of technology trends, social media tools, and analytics platforms.
