When people ask me why I like IT, despite all the horror stories of people not knowing how to deal with technology, my passion boils down to three things:-I enjoy working with computers-I enjoy working with my hands-I enjoy helping peopleThese three concepts have been built over the span of six years working on college IT departments. I've troubleshot desktops, laptops, and projectors on the fly in live classroom settings in front of dozens, sometimes hundreds of people. I've played tennis for fifteen years (started Spring 2008, played all through high school), which has taught me countless lessons about patience and decision making. I have volunteered at the BNP Paribas Open in the Media Services department for ten years.When I'm not writing tickets and turning off things on, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, mixology, and fashion.
