When I started working as a software developer, spending every day coming up with creative ways to speed up work flows and utilise every last processor cycle was a challenge that I reveled in. As my role has matured into that of a leader and mentor, I get the same pleasure from the challenge of getting the most out of the people I work with. I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people who each bring something unique to the table and I really like the satisfaction of drawing on those interactions as a team to provide much needed solutions for our customers.The 3 most satisfying elements of working life are: - Working with a team of committed and open individuals - Developing customer focused and holistic solutions - Employing creative thinking to realise solutions to complex problemsAfter 17 years in Defence I'm starting to get curious about opportunities in other areas.
