Led a new company, founded in partnership with professors at NYU and Columbia to provide a revolutionary digital prognostic for the prediction of melanoma recurrence serving under-diagnosed melanoma patients to help them access life-saving adjuvant therapies. • Defined the business model, target market, go to market strategy and execution plan to initiate the regulatory process• Represented Founder team in all fundraising activities with early-stage VC and angel investors• Developed non-dilutional funding opportunities with academic organizations in United States and Canada• Identified a serviceable market of 30,000 Stage II melanoma patients in the US annually • Created an MVP/initial product offering based on research with Key Opinion Leaders across the patient journey including providers, payors, and researchers • Negotiated a multi-year license agreement with NYU School of Medicine covering the core IP of company • Deployed deep machine learning technology and supporting workflows on a commercial platform using AWS, TensorFlow, and other open-source software • Performed technical validation to uncover and fix scalability issues for production usage metrics
