I am part of the Managed Services Team which maintains Nine's infrastructure of physical and virtual managed Ubuntu servers in our Zurich data centers.As part of the remote virtual office I am responsible for after hours (Zurich) support and alert response. In addition I handle daily task overflow, custom off hours requests, as well as support infrastructure sprint tasks.I have been heavily involved in the migration of our virtual infrastructure from in-house legacy hardware to cutting edge, Nutanix clusters in all 3 of our data centers.

My responsibilities at Vibe HCM (formerly cfactor Works) included managing, optimization, and troubleshooting of internet-facing Linux Apache/tomcat application servers in a high-availability environment providing 24x7 service. I deployed the static web infrastructure to both Amazon and now Rackspace CDNs. We used cloud infrastructure for custom as well as hosted monitoring of our online services, as well as other assorted cloud services we deemed beneficial for our business model.I worked closely with developers during release deployment, and I was heavily involved in the migration to a SAAS infrastructure, focusing on tools/procedures for automated deployment.

As part of the controls group I configured and deployed both low and high level controls for the accelerator and experimental beam lines. I worked both with the controls group and the Information Technology group to ensure the needs of the facility and the world class experimenters were fully met.

I managed all internal and external networking infrastructure, as well as acted as one of the lead System Administrators for the large Linux based cluster, with hundreds of nodes, Petabytes of storage, and multiple gigabit WAN connections.

My position in the ISAC Operations group was “Senior ISAC accelerator Operator” where I designed programs to aid in day to day operation, as well as commissioned and operated the Isotope Separator Accelerator (ISAC) itself

I served as a senior member of the operations group, designing applications for commissioning and operation of the accelerator. As well, I was involved in both routine and unique setup and operation of all accelerator systems
