Their purpose is to Innovate, Educate, Empower, Collaborate, and Leverage while striving for environmental restoration, social justice and economic vitality. The Students and Community On Renter Efficiency (S.C.O.R.E.) program helps student renters save money on their energy bills by providing them with the tools and information they need to do so through peer-to-peer education.• Orchestrated home energy assessments to rental properties in Boulder to make them more energy efficient and instill energy saving habits into tenants. • Worked towards continuing the outstanding reputation of the CU Environmental Center on sustainability and environmental respect by teaching students to reduce water, electricity, and heating usage.• Coordinated over 70 energy assessments for students and installed 180 CFL lightbulbs, 58 low flow shower heads, 95 faucet aerators, 630 feet of weatherstripping, 40 feet of pipe insulation, and 18 packets of window film.
