During my tenure it underwent the first of the three stages of development; providing a new cinema, 14 new retailers, and best in class public space and amenities in late 2017. During my tenure it underwent the first of the three stages of development; providing a new cinema, 14 new retailers, and best in class public space and amenities in late 2017. This was approx $80 million followed by a further $400 million over the next 5 years. My role in all of this was to provide operational input to the design, budget for future operations, manage the impact of a major construction in the heart of an operational asset and support construction team to deliver on the critical milestones.The second pillar to this role was to provide guidance and oversight for the other two Westfield properties in WA, Carousel & Innaloo; both of were in the midst of development activity. I supported the feasibility for Carousel & early stages for Innaloo (Stirling). I was able to continually grow my experience in the core functions of a Facilities Manager, explore innovation as well as extend into key areas of income delivery and strategic people planning. This role was responsible for the planning and delivery of the expenses budget, delivery of income targets for Embedded Electricity Network and the overall accountability of a controlled car park environment. Managing numerous stakeholder expectations and information can be a challenge.
