I spearheaded a new project to create and test polymer-based thermoelectric materials. I worked daily in the lab creating samples, building test equipment, gathering data, and reporting conclusions.· Created an accurate, low-cost (<$1000) experimental setup to measure Seebeck coefficient· Led 2 year investigation to optimize the performance of polymer-based thermoelectric materials through creation and testing of hundreds of samples with varying properties· Developed process to accurately control thickness of spin-coated polymer samples using a liquid additive· Created process for measuring nanoscale sample thickness via profilometry· Investigated nanostructures in Bismuth Telluride thermoelectric materials via TEM and XRD
