Starting off at the University of Oregon as a Research Assistant in 2016, I plunged into the intricate world of IoT security. That experience wasn't just about devices; it was an initiation into the interconnected realm of software and hardware. Soon after, I took a dive into a hands-on role at IDX LLC as an IT Specialist. Over a half-year period, I wore multiple hats—from troubleshooting hardware issues for employees to setting up an inventory management system from scratch.As I transitioned into a Data Engineer role, my daily tasks revolved around managing ETL pipelines and dabbling in web development. I took the lead in revamping WebAPIs, ensuring IDX LLC kept pace with evolving data pipeline technologies. It was around this time that my expertise in software tools truly expanded, giving me a solid foundation.Stepping into Elm Street through the acquisition, I honed my skills further as a DevOps Engineer. While my mainstay was AWS and optimizing software release cycles, I was also deeply involved in web development endeavors, especially with the introduction of Docker and Kubernetes to our tech stack.But the pinnacle of my tech journey has been my two-year stint as an IT Manager. This role was an amalgamation of all my prior experiences. From managing diverse IT teams to ensuring the smooth tech experience for international remote employees, my days were filled with a blend of software and hardware challenges. The role also saw me lead IT integrations for multiple acquisitions, highlighting my knack for seamlessly merging technologies.In essence, my journey from 2016 to 2023 has been one of continuous growth, where I've intertwined my software, hardware, web development, and to some extent, mobile device knowledge to ensure every organization I've been a part of has thrived technologically.
