Assist with direction of publicity department including author/agent relations, development of press materials, annual planning and budgets, publicity campaigns, marketing initiatives, title acquisitions, social media, author events, and book tours. Work with the publicity and marketing team to set goals for each book to ensure the execution of each publicity plan, track the results, and intervene when a project is falling short of outlined goals.Serve as a publicity liaison for Howard Books in an effort to foster relationships internally as well as maintain and grow our reputation to outside entities including literary agents, media outlets, organizations, and authors.
