As the first team Sports Rehabilitator at the club I am responsible for pitchside first aid on a Saturday as well as an injury clinic on a training day. Here I am solely responsible for the management of acute and chronic injury, which includes exercise prescription as well as hands on techniques.

Working in the represented team completing initial needs assessments with patients following incidents which have caused injury. The role includes assessing the injuries of the patient, referring for treatment and then guiding the patient through their rehabilitation until completion.Whilst in this role I have referred cases for physical and psychological therapies and managed cases from the acute stages, through to completion of rehabilitation.In the past I was responsible for the LEI project, where I managed a large caseload of mild to moderate cases.

During my time employed by this company I was given posts at the Manchester United FC and Juventus Soccer Camps. I have worked seasonally on 4 of these camps, where I was responsible for the acute management of injuries to players between the ages of 8-19. Whilst working there I was responsible for recording and managing all acute injuries for children between the ages of 7-19 years of age. In this role I have developed good communication, organisation and administrative skills. Whilst working with the camps I liaised with pastoral and coaching staff to ensure the safety and well being of the children.

I am responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates, networking and advertising to potential candidates (which includes identifying skills to appropriately match candidates with vacancies). Along with dealing with documentation and contracts for new starters and replying to queries related to logistics, pay and time sheets. In this role I liase with candidates and clients to deliver construction workers to large and small contracts.

Part of a team of first aiders for the academy, worked with ages U9-U15. In the summer of 2012 I was employed as the Sports Rehabilitator for the U11s tour of Holland, where my role included injury management and acute first aid.

Working with the Elite men's football team, covering league fixtures pitchside and dealing with injuries pre and post match.

Working for the club at all games in the 2011/2012 season, providing pitch-side first aid, massage, exercise prescription and taping for this football team located in Bristol. It has been a great insight to a fast pace sport, improving my ability to recognise injuries as they occur, and providing initial treatment as well as long term rehabilitation of injuries.
