After leaving Safelite Solutions, I began looking for work. Unfortunately I was unable to find much aside from basic retail or call center work. So I went back to my first job at Walmart but this time in the newly created role of Personal Shopper. My duties included organizing and cleaning the back room, collecting merchandise according to customer orders and dispensing said orders during appointed times. I fell into this role well and excelled in all my various jobs and was able to provide excellent customer service face to face, a quality which was lacking in a call center environment.Unfortunately I decided to leave Walmart once again late 2020 due to the Covid Pandemic. I had recently had my first child and I was worried about bringing this unknown disease to him so I became a full-time father while searching for a job that allowed me to provide and would teach me new skills.

After graduating college, I was searching for temporary work to bolster my resume. I found Safelite Solutions which is a call center for contracted insurance companies to handle client's inbound calls and set up a claim. I assisted clients with filling out a claim and setting up an appointment with a shop for repairs.I left after realizing that insurance work, at least of this nature, was not for me and we parted ways on good terms.

This was a job to work on during the summers that I was back home from college. My responsibilities included, but not limited to, taking customer orders, organizing inventory, cleaning displays and trays and assisting in the preparation of various products.

As an undergraduate, I was unable to assist directly in the research. I instead assisted in the tabulation of data and data entry via Microsoft Excel. The research was in regards to salivary assays measuring stress of students throughout a semester. In my processing of the data, I marked which data points stood out, eliminated outliers and created a visual display to understand large quantities of data at a glance.

My first real job since graduating High School. I moved around to various departments during my time there and ended with Customer Service and Money Center. My primary role was to handle merchandise returns/refunds, complaints and creating money orders. Alongside these responsibilities I also performed the duties of a cashier and trained new employees.During this job I learned how to act professional even when others weren't acting as such. I learned that you must perform the duties of your job while always looking for ways to improve.I left this job in order to pursue an education at the University of Northern Iowa.
