With the cooperation of UTDallas and Sunnyland Furniture, our group was selected to participate in an engagement with Sunnyland, to create a 5-year business plan.This plan was focused on growth through expansion with a new retail store in N. Texas.Our group engaged in Market research, commercial retail leases, operations, management and most importantly, Pro forma statements.Our project discovered several items for discussion, one being the control and purchasing of their inventory.

Managed office operations of a small broker firm. Including,automated underwriting, package completeness and submission, approvals, conditions. Ordered and reviewed appraisals, title commitments, surveys, and insurance requirements. Trained, coached and mentored processors, loan officers and other lending professionals. Experienced in FHA, VA, conforming and non-conforming lending products. Pride myself in conveying and executing urgency and the need to communicate during the entire process of prequalification to closing.

I was the manager of the billing department which included 6 billing coordinators, each coordinator was assigned an account and charged with tracking, monitoring, executing and recording the billing process. Rapp Collins was a direct mail and software firm that were innovators in the industry of direct mail and reward branding. My job was to ensure that each period or client project completion (per a contract) we accurately and appropriately accounted for all project pieces, time worked, project software hours billed and software captured information was accounted and billed for. We worked at the time using multiple systems because of a system conversion to better track coding software hours and the creative/art departments hours. I oversaw the process each month and did so by training each coordinator on their duties, kept informed by attending all department meetings related to client activity that involved pricing and billing. Kept all lines of communication open with each Account Executive to the client and made sure that we were accurately relaying AE information back to the controller...ie "what is our wip balance at any given moment?" "Why aren't we billing lower than the contractual/budgeted amount?" These were just a small glimpses into what I did and what and who I was responsible to .

I was selected to be the sole candidate for measuring and accounting for all base fuel usage. Recorded incoming fuels (jet fuels, commercial and diesel, also maintained the balance for liquid oxygen and nitrogen). Recorded outgoing fuels. Kept track of usage by group. Maintained balances by recording daily consumption by all units and reconciling against previous days balance basically used a 24 hour cycle to record all activity. I was stepped promoted to an E-4. Trained other airmen on the process for measuring and recording all fuel activity. Served in Operation Provide Promise and awarded a joint meritorious unit medal.
