I partnered with Andy Moulds to form MindFlow Design with the goal of building a world-class product development team that specializes in medical product development. We have built our internal teams and capabilities to address the needs of our clients whose products are regulated by the FDA. The rigor of this human centered process has also proven to be highly effective for the remaining 25% of our business which focuses on Commercial and Consumer products.We believe there are three factors that are critical to the success of developing a breakthrough product; The People, The User Experience, and The Product. The amount a company investments and focuses on in these three areas has a direct correlation with increased market share, increased revenue and building a top brand. Our competitive advantage is our holistic view and ability to understand people, enable great user experiences, and develop superior products in context of the business goals of our clients.

I began my own industrial design consulting company completing industrial design work for many start-ups and established companies. Although very successful I realized that my design work was a only a small piece of the puzzle. If I really wanted to design breakthrough products I needed to lead my designs through the full product development process similar to Pyxis. After increasingly bringing in engineering consultants to finalize my designs for manufacturing, I realized that my clients really wanted a turnkey product development partner. Upon receipt of my B.S. in Industrial Design I headed out to California where I created my design position and the industrial design department at Pyxis, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health. I was responsible for all planning and execution of industrial design activities which included establishing brand consistency across products as a result of business acquisitions.
