Quality ManagersAs the Quality Management Representatives for division 590/ San Francisco region my authority and responsibilities are as followed but are not limited to:a. Access work areas;b. Identify problems in QAP compliance;c. Initiate, recommend, and provide solutions to QAP compliance problems throughdesignated channels;d. Verify implementation of solutions;e. Assure that further processing, delivery, installation, or use is stopped or controlled(at his or her discretion) until proper disposition of a nonconformance, deficiency,or unsatisfactory condition has occurred.Certifying Level IIIMeeting the qualification and certification requirements of NDT Level III as defined in written practices. Responsibilities for the Certifying Level III include:a. Review of the candidate’s qualifications to ensure that the candidate for certification meets the education, training, experience and examination requirements defined herein.b. Signing the NDT Certification Record signifying that the candidate is qualified and subsequently certified in accordance with current documents.The Certifying NDT Level III is authorized to certify individuals in the NDT methods in which he or she is currently certified.
