As a Partner Engagement and Career Development Manager with Microsoft Military Affairs/Murphy and Associates, I have over 4 years of experience supporting the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA), a program that prepares transitioning service members and veterans for the civilian IT workforce. I leverage my skills in leadership, client relations, and program management to build and maintain relationships with military, educational, and business partners in the community, and assist MSSA participants and graduates with their professional skills and career opportunities.My father was a WWII Veteran, and I spent eight years as a military spouse, so I am passionate about serving those who served and changing their lives through education and technology. I am proud to be part of a sustainable and future-facing organization like Microsoft, and a member of a team that has helped more than 3,700 MSSA graduates to successfully transition into civilian tech roles. The MSSA program continues to evolve! I am excited to have a part in that continued growth and to form lasting personal and professional relationships along the way. I welcome our connection!

CurrentAt Microsoft via Murphy and Associates, I support the Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) and military members across the world as a Career Development Manager (CDM). MSSA prepares transitioning service members and veterans to join the civilian IT workforce by teaching them technical skills as well as the professional skills needed to stand out in a competitive job market. These professional skills include branding, resume building, interviewing, and networking to ensure a successful shift from the military to a new career.
