The Records Manager operates within Societe Generale CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking)and provides a range of services to all SG Americas businesses. We are a professional and accountable team who will actively partner with internal clients to provide cost effective solutions for their records management and safe keeping requirements. Our mission is to provide an exemplary level of customer service.Currently we provide the following services:Management and control of off-site records:- Independent validation of client records received for off-site storage to include a check for accurate completion of Accutrac data requirements and that contents conform to SG’s Retention Policy- Partner with clients to produce metrics for MIS and cost recharge validation- Extract reports to assist clients in managing their off-site recordsSafekeeping Vaulted Filing on sight and inventory of original documentation:- DDA documentation- W8 Tax forms- Pledged Assets (Files pledged to the Federal Reserve)- Critical client documentation- Reports to facilitate efficient monitoring and control of items in safe keeping, including items due to expireRecords Management will partner with business units to establish and maintain record retention and safe keeping services in accordance with policies set forth by Legal and Compliance. Our procedures ensure adherence to such policy and protect the interests of the bank by ensuring inventory and records are complete, accurate and secured.The Records Manager is also responsible for maintaining relationships with outside vendors( Iron Mountain ETC.). Duties include payment of invoices and insuring the bank is provided with the most cost effective solutions to assist with the Banks storage needs.Currently using a web based system called Accutrac to track and monitor all files present and in storage.
