I am an astute, analytical professional with a vast array of hands on experience in accounting, finance, and tax management. I pride myself on the teams and relationships that have developed over the years. I consider myself a financial "athlete" that can tackle anything if given the opportunity!Prior to entering private accounting, I spent 8 years in public accounting providing attestation, tax and consulting services. I became a trusted business advisor by exceeding client expectations and building strong relationships with owners and key personnel. I joined Vibram in 2011 with the goal of building a finance team with a foundation of integrity, dedication and a commitment to excellence. Vibram was a client at the time and I wanted to join them as they embarked on an incredible journey buoyed by the barefoot/minimalist running surge. The passion and energy the team had was incredible and I still feed off that to this day.I left Vibram in May of 2011 and joined The Rockport Company, which had just acquired the brand from Adidas and several other "brown-shoe" brands from New Balance. I came in an incredible time as we looked to carve out these well known and respected brands and stand up an entire enterprise operating infrastructure. As the Company faced some strong industry headwinds the stand-up proved more challenging and ultimately The Rockport Company was sold to Charlesbank through a stalking horse bankruptcy process in 2018. The process was new and challenging for me but we had an amazing team and ultimately the experience proved to be incredible. I stayed on with the "new" Rockport following the acquisition in bankruptcy.Shortly after the Rockport acquisition, the brand portfolio was expanded and a flag-ship brand "Reef" was acquired in 2018. I was heavily involved in the acquisition, onboarding, and subsequently the build-out of our multi-brand shared service finance approach. In a short-time, Reef has nearly doubled its top-line.During Covid, Rockport faced even more challenges and in 2023, entered bankruptcy a second time. I have stayed on with Reef (was involved heavily in the bankruptcy process again and ultimately the Rockport brand divestiture) as we worked quickly and efficiently to stand-up the single brand on its own. We look to continue to stay true to the Brand's heritage as we maximize its full potential.
