I independently source prospects, vet carriers, refine leads, make contact via email and phone, manage a database of prospects that I've grown to over 12,000 (my peers typically manage 2-3,000) that I use to solicit independent trucking companies to contract with JB Hunt to haul freight inside of our customer network for less than they can get on the open market. My ability to connect with and quickly build a rapport with carriers is critical in this position. I'm the only PCS recruiter to have brought on Billion dollar plus valuation companies in the group's history. At one point I had three of the seven largest tanker companies running the program and had four other companies running twenty plus trucks concurrently.Trucks I recruit typically earn the company between $1M-$1.5M monthly. Before the internal merger with 360Box my recruited fleet was responsible for nearly 2% of the gross revenue and between 7-8.5% of net annual profit for the entire truckload division. I've grown to be the most efficient and cost effective recruiter in the group and turned a $33K/year job into a six-figure income on sheer work ethic alone. My email solicitations use psychology basics to garner response rates far greater than my peers and industry average. My most effective effort consistently gets a response rate between 40-60% within minutes and provides a steady flow of prospects that I convert regularly. I stay very consistent in my daily workflow and don't leave stones unturned. Every truck is a prospect until I can verify that they are not the fit the company is looking for to ensure a successful partnership. I excel in the swimming with sharks environment that is recruiting and I pride myself on my ability for a one call close.

I currently run professional wrestling promotion Crown Championship Wrestling which has become the most successful promotion in the history of NW Arkansas, my online t-shirt shop Birdie Blacks, the commercial trucking insurance website www.bigrig-quotes.com and accompanying insurance lead brokerage under this entity.

I started at the NWADG as a sales assistant and the behind the scenes operation of Deal Piggy the daily deal site. I eventually became the ad scheduler for five daily and six weekly newspapers. Then was promoted to the Advertorial department where I wrote the Dining Guide and Real Estate section.
