During my six years at RADVision, I was responsible and involved in different aspects of the company. I was primarily responsible for managing and directing the hardware division customer support department for the Americas. I began wearing multiple hats of Systems Engineer, Customer Support, and IT Manger for the USA office, supporting RADVision’s original OnLAN line of video conferencing equipment. Later, duties were narrowed to direct the customer support and systems engineering group for support of RADVision’s H.323 line of products including Gateways, Gatekeepers, and MCUs. As RADVision was a startup company from the time I joined, I was responsible for developing the US support organization from the ground up. I also was heavily involved in developing and sustaining the support agreement between RADVision and Cisco Systems for the hardware OEM partnership between the two companies. During my tenure at RADVision I continued to develope extensive knowledge of voice and video conferencing technologies including a broad understanding of the H.323 and H.320 standards. As well I have a strong knowledge of many various supporting devices such as EndPoints from Polycom, Tandberg, Sony, CLI, VCON, and Zydacron to name a few, Further I have extensive experience with switches, routers, MCUs, and other telecommunications and networking systems from Cisco, AT&T/Lucent/Avaya, Nortel, and more.
