Assumed a team player role in helping Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Sea Center Texas meet and exceed the agency's mission by assisting Sea Center Texas staff with the planning and implementation of the Sea Center Texas's first summer day camp for children ages 9 to 11. The day camp focused on the importance of natural resource protection and restoration. In addition, aided with daily operations of Sea Center Texas; led interactive activities at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Brazos Bend State Park; the collection and laboratory analysis of sportfish hatchlings, including Spotted Seatrout and Red Drum; assisted with the collection of field data in the greater Galveston Bay Area; and developed and produced a new training video for incoming Sea Center Texas volunteers.
