Mathematical modelling of the electric potential, magnetic potential, electric field, magnetic field and magnetic flux density for calculation through Magnetic Properties Measurement System (MPMS).

Subwarden within William Morris Halls of Residence Responsibilities:-Pastoral Care: First contact for students requiring pastoral support including support and take disclosures including severe Mental Health and Sexual Violence. Offer immediate help to the students (including first aid) and outline the relevant support services on offer from the University. Liaise with Duty, Assessment and Incident team in order to provide all students with the best possible support.-Health & Safety: Support and Guidance to keep the highest possible health and safety standards for the students within the hall.-Events: Organisation of regular hall events such as High Tables-Hall Activities: Work closely with hall committees to facilitate in the planning of hall life and delivering best possible hall experience

Assisting and delivering teaching to Undergraduate students within the Physics Department.First Year Physics Labs - Supervision of first year undergraduates in Physics Labs with main responsibilities being the facilitation of learning and promoting critical thinking.Foundation Labs - Supervision of foundation students in Physics Labs. Responsibilities included assisting learning, assessing work and offer productive feedback.Core I & Core II - Assisting in the delivery of problem classes within core first year modules for courses within Department of Science (specifically Physics). Primary responsibility is to assist in the completion of tutorial questions and offer feedback.

Supporting the University's Schoole & College Liaison Team' outreach initiatives specifically Loughborough's Education Advancement Programme (LEAP). LEAP is a collaborative effort, delivered in partnership by colleagues from the School and College Liaison (SCL) Team, Future Space Team (London) and the Doctoral College and provides an opportunity for PhD students to share their research and gain teaching experience whilst supporting younger students to develop key study skills. The project is designed to promote participation within Higher Education to external students aged 14-18 within the East Midlands.Primary Responsibilities:- Development and tutoring: Devise and deliver an engaging a series of lessons that provide an insight into an area of research being undertaken at the University. Lessons could also cover areas such as conducting research/background reading, constructing an academic argument and referencing,- Mentoring: provide participating students with guidance and support to complete their assigned work.- Moderated marking: utilising a defined mark scheme, mark and feedback on the project work submitted by participating students. -Answering student enquiries: Where relevant Academic Support Mentors may also wish to provide further information relating to studying an Undergraduate degree. Where necessary refer some enquiries to SCL Team

Assisting in the mass asymptomatic testing of students for return to campus. Primarily working within the processing and administration of Lateral Flow tests.

- Represent that views of all students undertaking a taught postgraduate course within the Physics department at Loughborough University- Attend Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) meetings to discuss changes within the department which may affect students and communicate changes to students affected- Voice any issues that students are having within specific modules at SSLC meetings ranging from quality of teaching and difficulty of coursework to facility issues of the lecture hall and work with members of staff to work on a solution to ensure satisfaction of all students is at its highest- Attend regular training to keep up to date with the role of program reps within the Loughborough University education system

-Work under the Postgraduate Development Officer and form part of the Postgraduate Committee designed to support all Postgraduate students representing around 2000 students (approximately 15% of student body)-Assist in the planning of events exclusively aimed at postgraduate students ranging from recreational sports to networking events-Work on improving communication from LSU to postgraduate students in order to try and improve engagement of students within union activities

Outdoor & Sports Rep - July 2014 till June 2016- Member of Societies Exec (formerly Societies Committee) for two further terms working under VP Societies (formerly Societies President), responsible for the running of LSU Societies section for the 100+ societies at Loughborough Students Union.- Engage in the events planning and running of major Societies section events such as Freshers Bazaar, Societies Showcase and Annual Societies Awards Ball- Worked with the committees of the 25+ Outdoor and Sports based societies within the section in order to relay any important information as well as discussing any difficulties societies had experienced- Assisted the VP Societies with solving any issues that societies within the Outdoor & Sport section were having- Undertook appraisals with society committee members in order to discuss how each society was performing, any improvements that could be made and how we as Societies Exec could assist them in the progression of their society- Lead the presentation of training to new society committee members so that they had the tools to succeed as they undertook a new leadership role with their societySports Coordinator - July 2013 till June 2014- Engage in the events planning and running of major Societies section events such as Freshers Bazaar, Societies Showcase and Annual Societies Ball - Liaise with Sports Development Centre through the My Lifestyle Programme to engage societies to take part in a newly introduced social league system- Organise the running of sports leagues and communicate with society Sports Secs as well as market the programme in order to ensure the smooth running and success of the leagues

- Overtook the lead responsibility for running Loughborough Students Union Best New Society- Oversaw the day to day planning and running of the club as well as the long term progression and development of the club- Responsible for leading a team of volunteers in running the society in order to facilitate all paying members so they have the necessary tools to play Touch Rugby to whatever standard they wish- Seek and liaise with external contacts such as England Touch, O2 Touch and the RFU to enhance the pathways for progression and development of the society- Chaired committee meetings in order to ensure all committee members can contribute to the society as well as stay informed as to any changes and oversaw the completion of tasks of all committee meetings- Represent the views of the club at Society Chairs Council meetings and keep up to date with any changes to the section that may impact the club- Organised an international tour for members and completion of relevant admin material- Winner (along with Alexander Rowlatt, Treasurer) of LSU Societies Partnership Award for two individuals who have worked exceptionally as a team to forward a society or club at LSU Societies Awards 2014

- Involved in the initial setup of the Loughborough Students Union Touch Rugby Society at Loughborough University- Responsible for coordinating the initial marketing campaign of the club to Loughborough Students and to improve engagement of new members - Undertook roles within leading of Club sessions and external events including the completion of relevant paperwork including risk assessments and session plans- Winner of Best New Society 2013 at Loughborough Students Union Societies Federation Awards
