I am now working for SEA05B2 at NAVSEA West, providing programmatic support.Provided financial/program management, engineering and technical support to the Office of Naval Research (ONR) CODE 30 programs as well as other Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology (S&T) projects. These projects include Combating Terrorism, Distributed Operations and all other ONR Code 30 sectors, as well as associated DoD, ONR and Service directives and federal regulations affecting the S&T process. Directly manage and provide financial support for the Sciences Addressing Asymmetric Explosive Threats (SAAET) 6.1 Basic Research Portfolio. This includes 70+ ONR grants and contracts to universities, commercial and government entities in relation to the thrust areas of Anticipate-Affect, Detect, Mitigate and Neutralize. Work directly with existing principal investigators (PIs) at various Universities and independent research organizations to ensure their grant funding is accurate and meeting the ONR benchmarks established. Utilize the Naval Research Information System (NAVRIS) in support of these grants (total budget in excess of $15M (FY08), $12M (FY09), $13M (FY10), and $12M (FY11). NAVRIS effort includes entering Change Requests (CRs) for various grant/contract modifications such as admin changes, Incremental Funding Requests, Cancellation Requests, Expansions, etc. Review and respond to various new incoming Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) proposals, both solicited and unsolicited. Provided technical support to the LHD Class Combat System Engineer (NAVSEA 91K1) and PMS377R for Combat Simulation Test System AN/SSQ-91(V)4 (CSTS) related issues. Provided technical support to PMS400B64 by conducting reviews of various Interface Change Requests (ICRs) for the MK 41 MOD 7 Baseline IV Vertical Launching System (VLS) and attending and providing reports for related technical meetings.
