I am tasked with assisting Special Education students who are included in regular classes. I provide additional instruction and assistance based on each child's needs and as directed by state mandates. Other duties include restroom assistance for wheelchair bound students, assignment and test modifications, joint grading, and assisting the regular classroom teacher as necessary.

As the store manager at Hobby Traxx, I was responsible for the overall running of the store. This was a small, family owned business, and the owner was more of a silent partner. Daily responsibilities included opening and closing paperwork, bank deposits, merchandising, monitoring the CCTV system, customer service, marketing to attract new customers, running the custom paint and repair shop, and maintenance of the outdoor track. Other responsibilities included maintaining stock levels through ordering and returns, analyzing profit and loss reports, warranty exchanges, accounts payable and receivable, and promotions with other local shops.

This is where I acquired my customer service skills. Customer service and retention is paramount at this company and was the focus at all times during business hours. Other responsibilities included opening and closing paperwork, cash handling and drawer balancing, hiring and terminations, new hire orientation and training, monthly safety and loss prevention audits, scheduling, and auditing firearm paperwork to ensure compliance with federal standards.
