As a detention officer at the San Diego County Sheriff's Department for over seven years, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors in the county jails. I have received multiple commendations for my professionalism, integrity, and dedication to my duty.In addition to my law enforcement skills, I also have a strong background in mechanics, hydraulic systems, and diesel, which I acquired from my previous roles as a diesel technician and a Marine Corps engineer equipment mechanic. I have an associate degree in welding technology from Palomar College, and I can perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment and vehicles. I enjoy applying my technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the department's operations.
